Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that date has been fixed for arguments.

Learned advocate appearing for the injured victim submits that the case was registered on the foundation of political animosity.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there are 11 antecedents of the present petitioner. This Court is concerned about the relaxation of condition of bail. Bail was earlier granted as all the witnesses

were examined in the month of September, 2025. More than 7 months have passed since such order was passed. Till date the arguments are in progress.

As the trial has concluded, I am of the view that the provisions which were imposed are unwarranted in the present set of circumstances. However, the antecedents of the petitioner is a cause which may cause worry to the further proceedings before the learned Trial Court.

Accordingly, the earlier conditions which were imposed are modified to the extent that the petitioner shall not leave the District of 24 Parganas North and shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned Trial court. However, this will not deter the learned Trial Court from imposing any condition, if for ends of justice, the learned Trial Court deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
