Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for more than a year. They are the aged parents in law of the victim and have been falsely implicated. It was the husband of the victim who took the victim to the hospital immediately after the incident. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

The victim was burnt to death in her matrimonial home. Witnesses have implicated the petitioners along with the husband of the victim in the incident. Charge sheet has been submitted. The petitioners are in custody for more than a year. Offence, if proved, shall attract mandatory life imprisonment.

Considering the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application for bail is disposed of.
