Petitioner is in custody for 219 days. It is submitted he has been falsely implicated. He prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits report.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the husband of the victim-housewife. She suffered homicidal death at the matrimonial home within a year of marriage. No explanation with regard to the circumstances leading to the homicidal death of the wife is offered by the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid materials on record and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
