Mr. Sobhan Majumder Mr. Himangshu Ghosh ...for the petitioner It is alleged that bills raised by the petitioner on account of sale of goods in the office of the fourth respondent is yet to be disbursed. According to the petitioner, it made several detailed representations disclosing the bill date, number and amount before the concerned authority. None of the representations of the petitioner has been answered.

None represents the respondents. Affidavit of service is on record.

Without entering into the claim of the petitioner, as it appears that the representations filed by the petitioner praying for disbursing the bill amount is pending consideration at the end of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Nadia, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the fourth respondent to verify the bills. An opportunity of hearing shall be given to the petitioner prior to passing the final order If it is found that the amount mentioned therein is due and payable, then the aforesaid respondent shall take steps to release and disburse the bill amount immediately.

If there is any discrepancy in the bills, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner for taking further necessary action in the matter.

Steps shall be taken by the fourth respondent at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. The writ petition is disposed of.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
