dated 16.12.2024 and charge-sheet has been submitted on conclusion of investigation under Sections
429/34 of the IPC read with Section 11(I) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960.
In view of the police authorities having acted on the complaint, the grievance of the petitioner, prima facie, seems to be addressed.
If the petitioner is aggrieved by any act and actions of the police authorities while submitting charge-sheet, the petitioner will invoke the relevant provisions of law before the learned Court which is in seisin of the matter. The learned Court will deal with the same according to the legislation for prevention of cruelty to animals.
It is also directed that the authorities responsible for granting licence(s) should monitor regarding breeding of animals under the relevant provisions of law so that unnecessary harassment and/or cruelty is not inflicted
upon the animals under the garb of domestication.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18887 of 2024 is disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
