Learned advocate appearing for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) submits that the petitioner has not furnished any document in support of his title over the land in question. It is further submitted that, in the event the petitioner produces documents to establish his title over the said land along with his Aadhaar card, his application for an electricity connection shall be processed in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, I do not find any justification to keep this writ petition pending. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to submit the relevant documents substantiating his title over the land in question, along with a copy of his Aadhaar card, within seven days from date. Upon receipt of such documents, WBSEDCL shall consider and process his application strictly in accordance

with law.

Accordingly, WPA 18233 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
