Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner no.1 lodged a complaint on 11.06.2024 with the Inspector in Charge, Cyber Crime P.S. Paschim Medinipur stating that an amount of Rs.1,62,20,188 /- have been siphoned off by practicing fraud and misrepresentation from the bank account of the petitioner, his wife's bank accounts and his friend's bank account through online transaction and on the basis of the said complaint the police started a case being Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 11/2024 dated 11.06.2024 under section 406/420/467 of the India Penal Code. Learned counsel prays for speedy completion of the investigation by the police. Learned counsel appearing for the State files report. Let the report be kept with the record. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

From the report it is evident that the police authorities have taken all necessary steps on the basis of the complaint being Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 11/2024 dated 11.06.2024 under section 406/420/467 of the India Penal Code.

The Competent investigating authority is requested to complete the investigation at the earliest. With the above direction the writ petition being WPA 18984 of 2024 is disposed of.

Since the instant writ petition is disposed of without calling for any affidavits from the respondents, the allegations contained in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted by the respondents. No order as to costs.
