Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the University produces copy of the communication by the Registrar (Acting) dated 30th July, 2024 mentioning that the 'No Objection Certificate' issued by the DPSC dated 29th July, 2024, though not exactly in the format which is part of the latest Ph.D Ordinance but, however, considering that the examination is to be held on 14th August, 2024, the 'No Objection Certificate' may be accepted in the interest of the student.

In view of the above, it will be open for the petitioner to take steps for registration in the Ph.D. course. The petitioner may forward the 'No Objection

Certificate' to the University via electronic mail and hand over the original NOC to the University positively by tomorrow (01.08.2024).

As the relief sought for by the petitioner has already been allowed, there is no requirement to keep the writ petition pending. The same stands disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
