It appears from the report and is also submitted on behalf of the parties that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the private opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. Criminal proceeding being G.R. case no. 1682 of 2021 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Hooghly be quashed. The petitioners be set at liberty at once and be discharged from their bail bonds The revisional application is disposed of.

Consequently the applications being CRAN 1 of 2024 and CRAN 2 o0f 2024 are disposed of.
