It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is not named in the FIR. He has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the statement of the victim girl. It appears from her statement that the petitioner had also sexually abused the minor child.

In view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
