The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that despite having superannuated on 31st July, 2023 his service book has not been forwarded by the teacher-incharge, Paschim Joynagar J.C. High Schools (H.S.) to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24-Parganas for processing of pension papers.

In the above circumstances, this Court directs the teacher-in-charge of the Paschim Joynagar J.C. High Schools (H.S.) to forward the petitioner's service book in all respect to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24-Parganas within a period of seven days from date.

The District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24Parganas shall thereafter forward with appropriate approval after due scrutiny of the pension calculation sheet containing the last drawn pay of the petitioner to
the DPPG, West Bengal within a period of ten days thereafter mandatorily and positively.

The DPPG shall thereafter issue a PPO to the petitioner within a period of ten days of such receipt of papers from the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24-Parganas.

The arrears of pension from the date after the date of retirement shall be paid together with interest at the rate of 8% per annum within a period of 45 days from the date of issuance of PPO. In default, the rate of interest shall stand increased to 9% per annum. 6.
The school shall also release PF to the petitioner within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
