Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is a civil dispute pending between the private parties. The police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the injury report of the victim as also the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The victim suffered grievous hurt. The petitioner herein appears to be the principal assailant.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (A) 3973 of 2022 is dismissed.
