Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as in spite of sending information to the local police station, S.D.P.O. also the Superintendent of Police, no steps were taken. Consequently, petitioner sent information through Speed Post with A/D. However, the police authorities recorded the statement of the petitioner on or about 19.07.2025 and a specific case was started being Khanakul PS case no. 511/25 dated 19.07.2025. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities are proceeding with the investigation of the case.

As the investigation is in progress, at this stage the steps taken by the police authorities are not called for to be detailed with this order, however, the police authorities would take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. If in course of investigation the police

authorities are of the view that certain other sections are required to be incorporated, they will take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 18065 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
