1. This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to take action against the 5th respondent for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of the Muslim community. The 5th respondent is a Member of Parliament and the leader of the Opposition.

2. As could be seen from the averment set out in the writ petition which apart from being aware, no part in the cause of action has arisen within the State of West Bengal, merely by impleading the 2nd respondent, namely, the Chief Secretary to the State of West Bengal and the Minister in-Charge, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of West Bengal will not clothe this court with the jurisdiction to entertain this writ petition.

3. Apart from that the nature of relief sought for cannot be granted.

4. For the above reasons, the writ petition is dismissed.
