This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 as well as under Article 215 of the Constitution of India filed on December 6, 2001 seeking punishment of the contemners/the fifth and sixth respondents in the writ petition for violation of an order dated October 17,, 2000 passed in WP No.17705(W) of 2000.

I find that since filing of the application, none moved to press this contempt application.

Considering all aspects of the matter, I feel that the petitioners are no longer interested to proceed with the application on hand.

Accordingly, the contempt application stands dismissed for non-appearance of the petitioners. [Rabindranath Samanta, J]
