Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities on or about 21.06.2024 no steps have been taken.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court to the earlier order passed on 21.08.2024 regarding the observations of the Co-ordinate Bench.

Be that as it may, a report has been submitted by the State. The same reflects that the dispute and difference between the petitioner and the private respondents started on and from 2022. There are cases and counter-cases being Burdwan PS Case No. 207/22 and Burdwan Women PS Case No. 372/22. The report also reflects that at the

relevant point of time proceedings were drawn up under sections 107/116 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

I have taken into account the nature of the allegations as also the continuity of the disputes and difference between the petitioner and the private respondents who are related to each other. Having regard to the same, I direct the petitioner if she has materials in her possession in respect of the accusations which were submitted on 21.06.2024, she would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under the relevant provisions of law. Learned Magistrate would take steps after assessing and ascertaining regarding the genuinity of the allegations.

So far as the issue relating to the petitioner being harassed, I direct that the police authorities will only interfere in case there is violation of law and order and would ensure that the bitterness is not blown out of proportion.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 18962 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
