Mr. Nilanjan Bhattacharjee ...for the College It is the grievance of the petitioner that the selection process to fill up the post of Cashier/ Accountant at Shyampur Siddheswari Mahavidyalaya, Howrah could not be completed since the West Bengal College Service Commission did not place its nominee for the formation of selection committee.

Today, a letter dated September 4, 2023 has been placed on behalf of the College Service Commission to show that the Commission has already nominated the Expert Member. Let the letter dated September 4, 2023 be kept with the records.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the college to complete the selection process within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

Needless to mention that the candidature of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law.

WPA 18250 of 2023 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
