Written instructions filed in Court today by Mr. Banerjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of South Bengal State Transport Corporation (SBSTC) are retained with the records.

It is submitted on behalf of SBSTC that the period for which the petitioner could not render his service since he was in police custody from May 20, 2023 till June 4, 2023, has been treated as deemed suspension. Subsistence allowance that the petitioner was entitled to as per the extant rules and policies of the Corporation has been handed over to the petitioner. The petitioner's admissible salary from June 2023 is being released to him and the petitioner has also been allowed to join.

Mr. Mukherjee, learned counsel appears on behalf of the petitioner.

In the aforesaid circumstances, it is submitted that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

Accordingly, WPA 18251 of 2023 is disposed of.
