This is an application under section 401 read with 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 filed by the petitioner for quashing of the F.I.R. being Behala Police Station Case No. 510 of 2014 dated November 27, 2014 under sections 409/419/420/465/467/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code corresponding to G.R. Case No. 7764 of 2014 pending before the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, South 24Parganas. The matter appeared before the coordinate Bench on August 17, 2015, when direction was given to the petitioner to serve copy of the revisional application upon the opposite party no. 2. Thereafter the matter appeared on January 6, 2016 and since then the matter is pending before this Hon'ble Court.

In view of the long pendency of the matter and that the matter is running in the warning list since February 21, 2025, this Court is of the view that there is no reason to keep the matter pending in the list. Accordingly, C.R.R. 2373 of 2015 is dismissed for default. Let a copy of this order be sent down to the learned Trial Court by the department forthwith for information and necessary action.
