13.12.2021 sb CRR 2428 of 2021 (Via video conference) In the matter of : Bharat Bhowmick .......Petitioner Mr. Indrajeet Dey Mr. Afreen Begum ...for the petitioner Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ...for the State Learned advocate for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that for non-supply of documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the case could not be committed to the Court of sessions.

Learned advocate for the State is present.

It has been informed that the next date has been fixed on 10th January, 2022, as such I direct that the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Diamond Harbour would take all endeavour so that steps are taken by the prosecution for completion of the process of supply of copies by 10th January, 2022 or within a fortnight thereafter.

In case, any accused is absent on the date so fixed for receipt of the copies, the learned Magistrate would be at liberty to modify the order of bail. After the copies are supplied, the learned Court would take steps so that the case is committed to the Court of sessions by 1st of February, 2022. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2428 of 2021 is disposed of.
