We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show that a person had fled from the spot in the aforesaid Hyundai i-10 vehicle at the time narcotic was recovered from an accompanying vehicle. Said vehicle was subsequently recovered from the residence of the petitioner. Hence, there are materials on record disclosing complicity of the petitioner in alleged crime.
In view of the aforesaid materials on record and as prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected earlier and there is no change in circumstances since the rejection of his bail prayer, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, trial court is directed to proceed with the trial with utmost expedition and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
