Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the murder of the housewife. Under such circumstances & in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. We request the Trial Court to conclude the trial at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
