Claiming parity with the co-accused person namely, Arpita Roy @ Ramu Roy, who has been granted anticipatory bail in CRM(A) 2544 of 2024 on 31st July, 2024, a prayer for anticipatory bail is made.

2. The said prayer is not opposed by the learned Counsel for the State. 3.

Under such circumstances, we are of the view that the custodial interrogation of the present petitioners is not necessary.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the present petitioners, namely, Jnanananda Ray, Buddhadeb Mondal, Ananta Gorai alias Ananta Garai, Tufan Das, Jaydeb Garai, Sukdev Mondal, Kailashpati Mondal, Ramesh Bagdi, Shikanta Bagdi, Surja Bagdi, Biswajit Mal alias Prosen Mal, Prakash Bagdi, Bikash Bagdi, Sentu Mal, Shrimanta

Mondal, Narugopal Bagdi, Swapan Mal alias Khepa Mal, Sandhya Mal, Samir Mal, Samar Mal alias Papai Mal, Jaydeb Mal alias Mithun and Kajal Mal alias Akul Mal shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. It is further directed that the petitioners shall appear before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rampurhat, Birbhum, within two weeks from date.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is allowed.
