Perused the case diary.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statement of the victim recorded before a learned Magistrate implicating the present petitioner and the statement of a neighbour, who was an immediate post occurrence witness stating that he had seen the petitioner fleeing away from the place of occurrence after the incident, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
