It is submitted that there is slow progress in the trial of the case. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the trial is delayed due to adjournment prayed by the defence.

We have considered materials on record. Petitioner is named in the FIR and incriminating articles were also seized from his possession.

In view of the aforesaid facts and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
