A representation of the petitioner alleging unauthorized construction by the private respondent nos.8 to 16 over the public land comprised in Dag No.7408/7519, 7393/7542, J.L. No. 10, Mouza : Gilarchat, District : 24-Parganas (South) is pending before the different authorities including the Sub-Divisional Officer/SubDivisional Collector, Diamond Harbour, District: 24-Parganas (South), the respondent no.3 herein. The said representation dated July 28, 2025 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure 'P-3'. Learned Advocates for the private respondents submits that their clients have no

connection with the alleged public land, therefore, the allegation of unauthorized construction is baseless.

The respondent no.3 is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner in accordance with law after giving the petitioner, the private respondents and all concerned opportunity of hearing and to dispose it of within a reasonable period of time.

In the event, the respondent no.3 finds that the allegation of the petitioner is correct, he will take follow up actions.

WPA 18343 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
