Mr. Suddhadev Adak ...for the State Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved that no steps were taken pursuant to their complaint lodged on 18.03.2024. However learned Advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report prepared by the Officer-in-Charge Cyber PS, Lalbazar, Kolkata wherefrom it reflects that Sarsuna PS Case No. 111/24 dated 05.08.2024 has been registered for investigation and there is a progress in the investigation.

In view of the aforesaid, the grievance of the petitioner is addressed by the police authorities I am of the opinion that no further requirement of the pendency of the present writ petition is warranted.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the said report has been handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner.

Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Accordingly W.P.A.

19072 of is disposed of.

The petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate for receiving information regarding the progress of the investigation.
