Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that despite demand, the final report of an UD case of the petitioner's husband death was not supplied to her by the investigating agency. After filing of the writ petition, they intimated the petitioner that upon paying a certain sum, such report could be made available.

The same submission is now being repeated by the learned counsel for the State that upon paying a sum of Rs.50 online, such report could be handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

It belies any logic as to why the petitioner was made to wait for so long to get the report, which is required for them to claim insurance benefits regarding the petitioner's husband death.

In view of the above, let a copy of the report, which is available with the learned counsel for the State be handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner right now. The petitioner undertakes to pay Rs.50 through the GRIPS portal online, within a fortnight from this date.

A copy of the report is handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner in Court.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent certified copy of this order may be given to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
