1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Petitioner made an application for transfer on medical ground on portal on 18th February, 2022. It is submitted by learned advocates representing the petitioner and State respondents that petitioner was examined by medical expert and a report was furnished on 24th March, 2022 by the Chief Medical Officer of Heath, Diamond Harbour Health District. It is also submitted that transfer application of the petitioner in consideration of medical report dated 24th March, 2022 was forwarded to West Bengal Central School Service Commission (for short, "Commission") for taking decision.

However, till date Commission has not taken any decision on transfer application of the petitioner. Petitioner prays for direction upon the Commission to decide her transfer application.

3. A communication dated 20th August, 2025 by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas being respondent no. 5 is placed before this Court and same is taken on record. From said communication dated 20th August, it appears that respondent no.

forwarded transfer application to the Commission on 25th March, 2022.

4. Reliance is placed on medical report dated 24th March, 2022 wherein it was opined that the petitioner needs long term follow up and transfer of the petitioner nearby to her place of residence could enure better result.

5. Taking note of the medical report dated 24th March, 2022, Chairman of the Commission being respondent no. 4 is directed to decide the transfer application of the petitioner by four weeks from date of communication of this order. The decision to be taken by respondent no. 4 shall be communicated to the petitioner by ten days thereafter.

6. It is made clear that suspension of Utshasree portal shall not be a ground to reject transfer application of the petitioner.

7. Writ petition stands disposed of.

8. There shall be no order as to costs.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
