I.A. No. CAN 1 of 2022 is, accordingly, disposed of.

CAN/2/2022 By consent of the parties, the appeal and the stay application are taken up together for hearing. This appeal is directed against an order dated June 17, 2022, whereby W.P.A. 9083 of 2022 was disposed of.

The appellants are members of the respondent/Co-operative Society. With the grievance that the election of the Society is not being held, they

approached the learned Single Judge. The Learned Single Judge, in view of an order passed in a previous writ petition, directing holding of election in the Cooperative Society, did not pass any further order. The appellants say that they only want a date to be fixed within which the election should be completed.

In spite of service, the Election Commission or the Society is not represented. The State is represented.

The prayer is innocuous. Let the election of the respondent/Society be completed by October 15, 2022 after complying with all the formalities.

The appeal being MAT 1330 of 2022 is, accordingly, disposed of along with the application being I.A. No. CAN 2 of 2022.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance with all the necessary formalities.
