Continuing offence by the private parties who are allegedly violating the order of status quo passed by a civil court, cannot be decided in a contempt proceeding. The applicant is at liberty to approach the learned civil court with necessary prayers alleging violation of the order of status quo and for further orders seeking implementation of the order of the learned civil court.

However, if there is a subsisting order of status quo, the police authorities will maintain a vigil to ensure that no violation takes place.

Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of. Contempt proceeding is dropped.

The applicant is directed to communicate this order to the concerned police station.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
