Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved of the fact, although the case was initiated in the year 2017 and subsequently charge has also been framed after the charge-sheet was filed, but till date only one witness has been particularly examined by the learned trial court. The chargesheet so enclosed along with the revisional application, reflects that there are 10 witnesses on whom the prosecution has relied upon to prove its case. In view of the time period, which has already lapsed, I direct the learned Magistrate to fix at least one date in every 60 days and take the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

Learned Magistrate is further directed to fix a date after the Public Prosecutor assures the court regarding

the presence of the witness or witnesses. He is further directed that no unnecessary adjournments should be granted to either of the parties and the witnesses should not be excused from appearing in this court on vague, flimsy grounds.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2441 of 2021 is disposed of. Connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
