Ct.No.28 as (Rejected) C.R.M. (DB) 2816 of 2022 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Ranaghat P.S. Case No.253 of 2022 dated 16.04.2022 under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code with adding Sections 201/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

In the matter of : Gita Saroj. ....Petitioner. Mr. Susnigdho Bhattacharyya. ...for the Petitioner. Mr. Swapan Banerjee, Mr. Suman De. ...for the State. Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner renews her prayer for bail. It is contended investigation is complete.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits petitioner was one of the conspirators who murdered the deceased.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had an illicit relationship with the deceased. Such relationship turned sour. She had motive to commit the crime. Electronic evidence show communication between the deceased and the petitioner.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid incriminating materials on record and gravity of the offence, we are of the view this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
