The civil revisional application in the present case has been preferred against orders dated 29.7.2025, 30.7.3035, 31.7.2025 passed by the learned Additional District Judge, Court -II (In charge ), Bongaon, (Subrata Biswas and another -versus-Tagari Biswas) in Matrimonial Suit No. 500 of 2019.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the trial Court has proceeded for recording evidence in the matrimonial suit, but an application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act and another application under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code are pending hearing.

It is submitted by the petitioner/wife that in a proceedings under Section 125 of the CPC , a sum of Rs. 2,000/- each has been granted in favour of the petitioner /wife and their child.

It is also submitted that the amount is not sufficient for the petitioner to live a decent life with her growing child.

Considering this fact and on hearing the parties, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that the trial Court shall dispose of the application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act expeditiously preferably within 60 days from the date of this order, on hearing the parties. Both parties shall cooperate with the trial Court on filing their affidavits of assets and liabilities within 10 days from the date of this order, if not already filed. Learned counsel for the opposite party submits that an application under Section 24 of the CPC for transfer of proceedings is pending which the trial Court shall consider and dispose expeditiously considering that it is required to be disposed of prior to facing up the matrimonial suit for hearing.

The trial Court shall then make all endeavour to dispose of the matrimonial suit expeditiously without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either sides.

Accordingly, CO 2888 of 2025 disposed of.
