The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that, notwithstanding an agreement to pay rent at the rate of Rs.38,339/-, the respondent Superintendent of Police is not taking any steps.

Counsel for the State submits that not only has the rent been agreed to, but the matter was pending with the Finance Department, where the said revision of rent has also been approved. The parties are only required to enter into a formal agreement.

In that view of the matter, reserving liberty to the parties to enter into an appropriate agreement within a period of two months from date, the writ petition is disposed of.

The writ petitioner shall take all steps for the purpose of preparing and finalizing the aforesaid agreement and the respondents shall cooperate. There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
