Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that he had grievance in respect of the concerned police authorities for not pursuing with his client's several representations (Annexures P1 and P2, pp.13 & 15) before the Superintendent of Police, Howrah Rural District and also with the Officer-in-charge/Inspector-inCharge of the Panchla police station. He further submits that the police authorities have subsequently registered a case and as such he does not intend to pursue with the remedies prayed for in the present writ petition.

In view of the above submissions so advanced, I direct the concerned police authorities to conduct the investigation, if any, to be taken to its logical conclusion. With the above, WPA No.19146 of 2024 stands disposed of.
