Petitioner approached this Court at a stage when the petitioner's daughter could not be traced. Pursuant to the direction of this Court from time to time the victim girl was traced and also one of the accused person was arrested. The investigation of the case is in progress.

Having regard to the fact that the investigation of Kultali P.S. Case No.175 of 2023 dated 24.03.2023 is at present at a stage when some of the other accused persons who are evading the process of law are required to be brought before the court, I direct that the further monitoring of the investigation be done by the SDPO/Additional S.P./D.S.P. who is In-Charge of Kultali Police Station. The concerned superior officer will submit his report once in a month before the learned ACJM, Baruipur. Learned ACJM, Baruipur will supervise and assess

regarding the report so submitted and, if required, pass directions so that there may not be any unnecessary delay in filing the report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19074 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
