Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya ..for the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education This matter relates to change of name in the school leaving certificate. In this respect this Court earlier passed an order in the writ application being W.P.A.10602 of 2021. Now the present grievance of the petitioner is that West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has not done anything.

Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya, learned advocate for the Board has submitted that the petitioner produced two birth certificate from the same Gram Panchayat and Board wanted to know from the said Gram Panchayat about the matter. The Gram Panchayat admitted the matter but did not explain the situation. In such circumstances the Board sent it to the Director of Health Services on 2nd September, 2021.

I direct the Director of Health Services to call a

meeting with the petitioner and the representative of the Board within four weeks from date and to take decision in this regard and on the basis of that the Board will take steps.

With this direction the matter is disposed of. The Director of Health Services is directed to intimate the date of such meeting to the petitioner and also to the Board.
