The petitioner is a suspended primary school teacher. He has been suspended because of a criminal offence which is no way connected with his service and is related to his domestic issue. Currently, the teacher is on bail.
A representation has been made by the petitioner before Hooghly, DPSC praying for revocation of the order of suspension. The same is pending consideration.
Without entering into the merit of the representation filed by the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Chairperson, Hooghly, DPSC to consider and dispose of the
representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with the relevant rules/guidelines after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and by passing a reasoned order at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation which was put to post on 21st June, 2024 along with all documents in support of his prayer to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
