This instant revisional application has been filed challenging an order dated 18th June, 2025. By the said order, warrant of arrest was issued against the petitioner, who is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No.869 of 2014.
It is submitted that the petitioner all along appeared and remained present before the learned trial Court. It was the solitary occasion on June 18, 2025, when the petitioner was absent, though a time petition was filed on his behalf, which was rejected by the learned Court.
It transpires from the impugned order that on June 18, 2025, the case was fixed for commitment. Nonappearance of the petitioner, the case could not be committed to the court of sessions. The case is one under Sections 341/326/302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner undertakes to surrender before the court below, within a period of one week from date. In such circumstances, the instant revisional application being CRR 3577 of 2025 is disposed of. It is directed that no coercive action would be taken as against the petitioners on the strength of warrant of arrest issued against them in connection with G.R. Case No.869 of 2014 till 20th September, 2025.
The petitioner shall surrender before the Court below within the stipulated period of time and the learned Court below shall consider their bail application, if any, filed in accordance with law without being influenced by the observation of the Court. (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
