.... petitioner Mr. Priyankar Ganguly ...for the petitioner Mr. Sanjoy Bardhan ...for the State Learned lawyer representing the petitioner submitted, that the present petitioner is in custody for long and there is no possibility of immediate commencement of the trial. We have perused the case diary and other materials. There are strong incriminating elements against the present petitioner at this stage and contraband substance of commercial quantity was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Accordingly, we are of the opinion that the petitioner should not be released on bail although the supplementary chargesheet has been filed. We direct the learned Trial Court to consider the charge, if not done, within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of this order and to finish the trial, if the charge is framed, preferably within a period of eight months.

The application for bail, being CRM No.8111 of 2021, is disposed of.
