Since the petitioners seek expeditious disposal of GR Case No.1972 of 2020 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears that the matter is pending since 2020 and this Court is informed that charges were framed on 8th June, 2022.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as the business of the Court would permit, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 3176 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
