AB C. O. 2713 of 2024 Smt. Sushama Seth Vs Anil Kumar Shaw & Others Mr. Siva Prasad Ghose .....for the Petitioner. This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 2nd Court, Barrackpore to dispose of the Ejectment Suit No.32 of 2020 expeditiously. Mr. Ghose, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the hearing of the application under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 has been concluded and a date has been fixed for passing orders.

In view of the order proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to issue notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocates representing them before the learned Trial Court.

In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, C.O. No.2713 of

2024 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 2nd Court, Barrackpore to make an endeavour to dispose of the Ejectment Suit No.32 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

This order has been passed considering the fact that the suit is pending from the year 2020 and it is a suit for eviction on the ground of reasonable requirement.
