The affidavit filed by the petitioner shall be kept with the records. The petitioner claims to be a permit holder in respect of vehicle no. WB 39B 2707 (Bus) for the route from Ilam Bazaar to Man Bazar. The grievance of the petitioner is that the timetable issued by the transport authority for plying the vehicle conflicts with the timetable prepared for respondent no. 5. The timetable of respondent no. 5 has been annexed at page 19 of this writ petition. Having regard to the nature of the dispute involved, I find no justification to keep this writ petition pending.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, West Bengal, respondent no. 3, to consider the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law and to pass a reasoned order within four weeks from the date hereof.

respondent no. 5. The reasoned order shall thereafter be communicated forthwith to the parties.

Accordingly, WPA 18334 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
