Khatun ..for the petitioner Mr. Ashish Guha Mr. Amartya Pal ..for the State The petitioner has alleged inaction on the part of an authority under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 which is a specified Act under Section 2 (r ) of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997. The State is represented by its learned advocate. Since there is an alternative efficacious remedy available under the said Act, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

Faced with such situation, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum.

In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, WPA 18562 of 2025 stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
