1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The son of the petitioner expired because of electrocution. A representation has been made by the petitioner seeking compensation which is pending consideration.

3. Without entering into the merits of the prayer of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the competent authority of WBSEDCL in the zone to take into consideration the prayer of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with all supporting documents to the competent authority of WBSEDCL in the zone at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
