Mr. Anirban Ray, ld. G.P., Mr. Raja Saha, Mr. Debasish Ghosh ...for the State The petitioner runs a Bar cum Restaurant. He has the licence to sell Foreign Liquor both off and on premises.

The petitioner has applied for permission to hold live entertainment shows in his premises. The authorities are yet to take a decision in the matter.

In those circumstances, the District Collector, Hooghly shall take suitable decision in the matter after taking into consideration all relevant matters including the applicable rules and local law and order situation, within a period of 45 days from date.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of. .

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
