The Officer-in-Charge, Indupur Police Station, Bankura has filed a report dated 2nd May, 2023 and the same is taken on record.

Admittedly, the petitioners and the private respondents are co-owners in respect of certain lands. The allegations of the petitioners are that the private respondents are forcefully cutting trees and illegally fishing from the pond.

This Court is of the view the disputes between the parties are civil in nature which may be raised before the appropriate civil forum.

Indupur Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area and shall maintain a strict vigil in the locale. 5.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

6.

There will be no order as to costs.

7.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
