The petitioners submit that they have purchased the said premises through an e-auction conducted by Punjab National Bank and a sale deed had also been executed in their favour.

It is the grievance of the petitioners that though they made a representation dated May 18, 2023, before the Rishra Municipality seeking mutation of the assessment records, till date no steps have been taken.

In that view of the matter, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon Rishra Municipality to consider the representation dated May 18, 2023, filed by the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. The Municipality shall hear the petitioners before arriving at its decision, if necessary.

WPA 18491 of 2023 is accordingly, disposed of.
