The petitioner is the owner of the land in question. After having his land leased out for three years in the year 2020, he got back possession of the property in 2023. Since then the private respondents had been disturbing his possession and trying to enter into the land and take away things from there. On one occasion, the miscreants came, assaulted and molested the petitioner's wife. In spite of this, the police authorities did not register an FIR.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondents submits as follows. The allegations made in the writ petition are denied. The private respondents have never committed any crime as alleged by the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies

on the case diary and submits as follows. As specific FIR being Pandua Police Station Case No. 413 of 2023 dated 08.08.2023 has already been registered on the complaint of the petitioner under Sections 448, 323, 354B and 427 of the Indian Penal Code. Police is keeping a sharp vigil in the locality.

It appears that the prime grievance of the petitioner of police inaction in registering an FIR has already been redressed. A specific FIR has been registered and is being investigated into.

Let the Investigating Officer investigate into the alleged offences expeditiously and in accordance with law. The respondent police authorities shall also maintain vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
